Yankee Ladies

The Yankee Ladies Board met this week, please see the following notes from our meeting:

• Board elections – Per our bylaws, board elections will be held in January 2012.  We are STILL looking for people to volunteer for board positions.  Please contact a board member if you are interested – we want everyone to be involved in a capacity which suits them.
• 2012 Calendar – The calendar will be release at the Nov 14 meeting.  Two more photos still need to be taken and the draft is currently with the designer.
• Website – The website has been edited (as you can see).  We are working to link to our online apparel store and calendar store.
• Overhead projector – We are now all owners of an overhead projector!
• Scholarships – Tina volunteered to lead the scholarship meetings for coaching on 9/29 and 10/20 at 7PM at Aubree’s on Whittaker Rd.  GOOD LUCK!  We are due for some scholarship awards!
• Monroe County Community College – Corinne is speaking on Oct 12 and out YL “Guess How We Got Here?” panel will speak on Oct 17th at 7PM – more details on this event.
• Penelope Pilot Book Project – We are still working on the best way to help Linda Meeks increase sales for the Girls with Wings non-profit.  More information will follow.
• Holiday TEA Party – Lets get hyped up for our upcoming holiday party/relaxation session.  This members-only event will still feature a masseuse, food and a special GUEST will stop in!
